Venue

Kasteel De Berckt

is a 13th century castle that was inhabited by monks from the beginning of the twentieth century until recently.  Now it is used as a venue for group meetings, retreats, etc. The buildings and rooms still have the old atmosphere, but everything is brought up to present standards (wireless broadband internet through hot spots, beamers,  etc.).

The castle can accommodate several larger groups at the same time. Each group has its own meeting rooms and bar, all groups use the same dining room.

Sleeping rooms ( 2,3,4 (bunk)beds) are simple, but with modern sanitary facilities.

The castle is located on beautiful grounds with ponds, ancient trees and wooded areas in a rustic area adjacent to the Meuse, one of the Netherlands’ big rivers and to a recently constructed golf course.
